In the tradition of Sketch Blogs…
My friend Matt, my brother and I have started sketch book assignments. Each month we choose a topic and have at it. At the end of the month we send one drawing to each of the participants. I usually scan my originals before sending them out just so I have a copy. I’m only going to post mine, because Brien and Matt may not want there work on the internets, so I’ll respect that.
Remember they’re just sketches…

I love your self portraits. Amazing line quality; your face has a definite volume. I look forward to seeing more.
the first…good! pretty dead on. the second one…that doesn’t look like you at all! funny.
I am inspired by your choice to change the medium for each project. Having seen some of these in real life, they are pretty cool. I have a silly picture pen-pal where we mail silly pictures back and forth. Real mail is way more fun than the electronic kind.
If I still did the mousetrap car project, I would totally be asking to use copies of the snap snap snap pic as part of the trophy.
