Entering the Blogosphere…
So I am a media arts teacher and I figured I should be “hip” to the new fangled technologies out in the Internets. I remember when I was cool, on my Apple IIe, using print shop to draw pixel images. Using Prodigy to go on the “Internet” to ask questions about Kings Quest and Monkey Island. I used to be ahead of the curve or at least right there with it. But now, I’m starting to refer to DVD’s as “CD’s”, and this is scaring me.
Back into the Internet tubes, and time to learn and do, and see what is out there, after all, I’m teaching a bunch of students about film and art and media… I need to know more than they do. At least most of them.
This will be my foray into the blogosphere. I do not promise daily post, but I hope to try. I do have a podcast with my brother, so I’m not totally in the dark-ages, or pre-2000.
